Thin Crust Pizza

 Thin Crust Pizza

Ingredients:
3/4 C Warm Water
1/2 tsp Sugar
2 tsp Yeast
2 C Flour
1 tsp Salt

Instructions:
1. Adjust oven rack to highest position. Preheat oven to 500 degrees.
2. Dissolve sugar and yeast into warm water and let sit until foamy (about 5 mins).
3. Combine 1 Cup flour and salt, pour the yeast water into the bowl and stir with a wooden spoon until smooth. Stir in 1/2 cup flour. Turn dough onto a floured surface and knead for 5 minutes, slowly adding up to 1/2 cup more flour until it is not very sticky.
4. Let the dough rest for 5 minutes, divide into 2 and form each piece into a ball. Roll dough onto a slightly floured surface into a 12 inch diameter.
5. Transfer dough to pan, top with pizza sauce, and bake for 5 minutes. Remove from oven, top with remaining toppings and bake for 7-10 minutes.

Notes-
This dough can be wrapped in plastic wrap and stored in the fridge for 2 days or the freezer for 3 months.
The crust is really really thin.... to keep it crispy try not to use too much sauce.

The picture is the one piece of dough rolled out and cut in half for different flavors.
